Supreme and Nike have had a longstanding relationship that has produced a wealth of noteworthy collaborations. Remember the chokehold that the Nike x Supreme overalls had on the NBA? Since what seems like time immemorial, the box logo and the Swoosh have been joining forces for releases, so regularly in fact that the Supreme x Air Force 1 Low remains a staple in the brand’s seasonal drops. Due to their ageless relationship, Supreme has had multiple opportunities to dive into Nike’s cavernous archives to revive or reconstruct some of Nike’s more underrated or forgotten silhouettes.
Supreme’s love for the Air Max line has been one of the brand’s most reverent partnerships, They have highlighted some of Nike’s biggest models in the line, like their recent collection of colorways of the Air Max 90 or the Air Max 95 Lux from all the way back in 2019 while also resurrecting rarer models like Air Max 96 and Air Max 98 TL. For Fall/Winter 2026 Week 2’s drop, Supreme has given a unique twist to the Nike Air Max 2000, one of the sneakers developed under Nike’s Alpha Project banner, in a trio of new colors. So unique, in fact, that the sneaker has received a new name just for the duo’s collaboration—The Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy.
Supreme x Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy Details
The Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy at its core is recognizable as the former Nike Air Max 2000, keeping the lightweight upper’s mesh construction similar to other staples of the Alpha Project like the Nike Air Kukini and Nike Air Presto. The Supreme bent comes on the side panels, where the silhouette’s TPU supports get transformed into a sharp spelling of Supreme that wraps around from the lateral side to the medial side.
The shape and positioning of the Supreme branding recalls the streetwear giant’s take on the Nike Air Max 98 TL, wrapped around similarly while also employing a streamlined look made to fit in the space afforded by the heel counter. This version of Supreme branding might be the most eye-catching take since Supreme’s take on the Nike Air Uptempo where they swapped the Air branding for "Supreme" in a naturally fitting way. The angular take still manages to keep the spirit of the original alive with the same 5 stripes found on the Air Max 2000, Optimus Prime-style transforming into an interlocking, graffiti-esque look.
The Supreme Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy comes in a trio of colorways including a bold red and yellow option with silver 3M accents on the side panel and heel counter, a chill white option with reflective blue details, and the most low profile version of them all is a blacked-out colorway with matching dark detailing, skewing more closely to the standard black colorway of the model set to return later this year.
Supreme Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy Release Info
The Supreme Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy will be released during week 2 of Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2026 season, on August 27, and it’s set to be the only release for tomorrow’s drop. Expect to see more apparel and accessories return for the Week 3 drop on September 3, 2027. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $188 for all three pairs.
